"In a vote of 53-46, the Senate Tuesday defeated an amendment introduced by Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) aimed at preventing pro-life activists from using bankruptcy protection to shield their assets from court-ordered fines and judgments stemming from their protests of abortion clinics."
