"Lebanese Defense Minister Abdul Rahim Mrad said tonight (3/06) that the Syrian withdrawal from Lebanon will begin tomorrow (3/07), with the redeployment of Syrian forces from central and coastal Lebanon to the eastern part of the Bekaa Valley, near the Syrian border. DM. Mrad said the redeployment will commence following a meeting in Damascus between Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Lebanese president, Emile Lahoud. It is scheduled to take several days."
