"WILL THE  BEAST (ANTICHRIST) ORIGNATE IN LEBANON?"

Dear John & Doves,

Will the Beast (Antichrist) of the book of Revelation originate in Lebanon which was once a part of the Roman Empire, the Seleucid Kingdom, and the Assyrian Empire?  As you know, some Christians believe that the Beast (Antichrist) will come from the EU which would represent the Western half of revived Roman Empire while others believe that he will come from the Seleucid Kingdom which is represented by the King of the North in the book of Daniel, but he would be called the Assyrian as well.  If you look at Map 98: Roman Empire at  http://www.studylight.org/se/maps/browse.cgi?st=130#098 it shows the countries in Europe in the Western half of the Roman Empire along with the countries in the Eastern half of the old Roman in Asia Minor and the Mid-East which would have included the Seleucid Kingdom of the North that is shown in Map 90: The Seleucid Empire & Antiochus III at http://www.studylight.org/se/maps/browse.cgi?st=120#090  The Eastern half of the old Roman Empire would also included the countries in Assyrian Empire that is shown in The Rise of Assyria at http://www.studylight.org/se/maps/browse.cgi?st=90#064  and in Map 66: The Assyrian Empire under Tiglath-Pileser III http://www.studylight.org/se/maps/browse.cgi?st=90#066 This link called Daniels' Prophecies & Antichrist  at http://www.frankcaw.com/Daniels-Visions.html tells us that all the modern countries in both the Western half in Europe & Eastern half in Asia Minor of the old Roman Empire are the ten toes or ten Kings in Daniel's vision.

Recently I was wondering how the Beast of Revelation as a King could come out of the Seleucid Kingdom that represents the King of the North in the book of Daniel 8:22-25 & Daniel 11:21-39 along with him being the Assyrian mentioned in the Bible; yet according to Daniel 11:40 at the time of the end the King of the South pushes at him and the King of the North shall come against him. So how could the Beast be a King from the North; yet have the King of North come against him?  At first, I just thought that the Seleucid Kingdom included just present day Syria & Iraq, but Lebanon is also included in both those empires as seen in those maps above. So if the Beast (Assyrian) was a King of the North that came from Lebanon that would leave the other 2 Kings of the North of the two modern countries of Syria & Iraq of the Northern Kingdom or old Seleucid Kingdom to come against him which are North of Lebanon. So that is how the King of the North (Syria & Iraq) could come against another King of the North (Lebanon) since all 3 countries of Syria, Iraq and Lebanon were at one time considered one kingdom of the North called the Seleucid Kingdom.  Having said all that please read this article called Will A Popular Uprising In Lebanon Lead To The Rise Of Antichrist? on the front page of http://www.frankcaw.com and the article called Why The Antichrist Will Originate In Lebanon at http://www.frankcaw.com/Antichrist-Lebanon.html  I would also suggest your reading The Ultimate Deception Book Introduction at http://www.frankcaw.com/Book-Introduction.html as well as the article called Why The Antichrist Will Not Pretend To Be The Jewish Messiah at http://www.frankcaw.com/God-Not-Messiah.html

The Assyrian is mentioned in a number of places in the Bible. Isaiah 10:5-6 says, "O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets."  Isaiah 10:12  says, "Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks." Isaiah 10:24-25 says, "Therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.  For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction."  Isaiah 14:24-25 says, "The Lord of Hosts hath sworn, saying Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders."  Isaiah 30:31 says, "For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod."  Micah 5:5-6 says, "And this man (referring to Christ in verse 2) shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.  And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders."  Ezekiel 31:3 says, "Behold the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs."  If you continue reading that entire chapter of Ezekiel, the Assyrian is eventually cast down to hell with them that descend into the pit according to verse 16.  Is this chapter just referring to a past Assyrian King, or to both a past and future Assyrian King?  I thought it interesting that the Assyrian is mentioned in same verse as Lebanon, and Lebanon is still the name of a modern day country.  I don't know if the Beast (the Assyrian) will definitely come from Lebanon or not, but it is certainly something to consider as a possibility along with the possibility of his coming from either Syria or Iraq.

  God bless,
