The Knesset plenum on Monday afternoon rejected the bill on the disengagement referendum by a vote of 72 to 39." 

"The Knesset has had its word. It means there will be no referendum and disengagement will proceed on schedule," an aide to Sharon who asked not to be identified told Reuters."

Knesset rejects Gaza pullout referendum 

"Following the vote, settler leaders announced they would focus their struggle against the pullout into actions in the field and warned of civil war.

"The Yesha Council for Jewish Settlements in the West Bank and Gaza said it intends to act together with more than 100,000 activists in Gush Katif and the northern West Bank in efforts to prevent the pullout."
