"Rosh Chodesh Adar II Today and Tomorrow"

It looks like these Jews won't be celebrating passover this month because barley was found in Israel making it the 1st month of the year which is Abib (Nisan).  Instead they are keeping the Jewish calendar which shows the 13th month of Adar 2.

Rosh Chodesh Adar II Today and Tomorrow

"Today, Friday, is the 30th day of Adar I, and tomorrow will be the first day of Adar II. Both days are celebrated as Rosh Chodesh, the celebration heralding the new Jewish month."

"There are two months of Adar this year, as it is a Jewish leap year."

"Rosh Chodesh Adar is a particularly festive occasion as Jewish tradition relates the month of Adar with increased joy and the Jewish people's ability to overcome seemingly inevitable disaster through the help of God."
