"Exactly ... no crops ... no abib ..."

Greetings David and all others who have commented:

Right!  No crops, no abib of barley in the wilderness!  Nurishment is manna,
quail, and water from the Rock.  Now as nomadic people they did have flocks and herds.

The practice for determing abib and whether there would be an additional
month could not yet be used.  Second Adar could not exist.

The Children of Isreal would have just lived one lunar month after another and
it would have been with ONLY Sabbath and new moons for 40 years.  There could
have been no other feasts.  Or ... if so ... what other ones could there have been?

My interest in the abib of barley is because it relates to First Fruits which
is when Yeshua went before The Father.
