Things are definitely heating up on the war front: I think we are headed for the War of Ezekiel 38 & 39 in the Middle East, many thanks to Syrian and Iranian madmen. While the U.S. is busy with this war (and/or squelching a civil war within Israel), China will make its long awaited move on Taiwan....knowing the U.S. can't fight two wars at once.Indiadaily.com - Converging U.S. Navy aircraft carrier groups in Middle East send strong message to Iran and Syria

One more interesting observation: The war of Ezekiel 38 & 39 includes a passage where God says that HE will pour out FIRE upon the Russian homeland AND also upon "those who dwell carelessly in the isles". I'm in the camp that believes that this passage refers to the U.S. Our judgment will come in the form of FIRE from GOD. It just hit me today, that this could very well refer to SuperVolcanic explosions.....not a nuclear exchange between the U.S. and Russia. As you know there has been so much in the news in the past year, and especially in the past 3 months regarding unprecedented earthquake/volcanic activity. Scientists have been monitoring Yellowstone supervolcano with intense interest during the past year. If Yellowstone does blow......the U.S. will be HISTORY! Hopefully, the rapture will happen before all this occurs. BUT the fact that these things are all escalating into to view in the VERY NEAR FUTURE, can mean only ONE thing! "Look UP, for YOUR redemption draweth nigh!"

Special Report: Israel's Coming Civil War?
Ariel Sharon's 'Disengagement Policy' is rapidly approaching the point of starting a civil war within Israel, and there may be no way to prevent its outbreak that won't bring down the wrath of the United States and the UN on the Jewish State.
The policy of 'disengagement' is another way of expressing the Oslo 'Land for Peace' formula that ran from 1993 until 2000, when Yasser Arafat launched what Israel calls the 'Oslo War'.
In desperation, realizing that the world was forcing Israel to negotiate with an unrepentant enemy who did not intend to honor any agreements anyway, Ariel Sharon announced a new policy of 'unilateral disengagement'.
In this model, Israel would simply withdraw from the Gaza Strip and let the Palestinians fend for themselves. It made sense at the time it was formulated. Except any concession offered the Palestinians, regardless of the conditions, becomes the launching point for further negotiations.
Here is what I mean. Should Israel offer, for example, to share the capital of Jerusalem with the Palestinians, provided the Palestinians fulfilled certain preconditions, the 'preconditions' become meaningless.
Whether the Palestinians pretend to fulfill them or simply refuse outright afterwards, Israel's last promised concession becomes the default starting point for future negotiations.
Ariel Sharon's plans for 'unilateral withdrawal' were intended to wall out the Palestinians from Israel and keep them from coming in contact with Israelis.
Then Arafat died. Suddenly, there emerged a more reasonable interlocutor in Mahmoud Abbas.
Sharon was forced to shift from that of 'unilateral' disengagement to 'cooperative' disengagement, which turned the plan from one that penalized the Palestinians for continuing the terror into one in which Israel finds itself surrendering land in exchange for nothing.
'Cooperative disengagement' gives the Palestinian Authority input into the implementation of the withdrawal, which, in turn, puts them in an enormously advantageous position.
The Palestinians are now in the position of dictating the terms of the withdrawal, making them the unlikely victors in a conflict that, had Arafat lived, would have resulted in a decisive defeat for their side.
Assessment:
The Jews facing forcible evacuation from there settlements in the West Bank and Gaza are demanding answers to a number of questions.
If the conditions for Palestinian statehood include a genuine democracy with full respect for human rights, then how does that square with the ethnic cleansing of Jews from the West Bank and Gaza?
Consider it from the perspective of an Israeli 'settler'. In Israel, Palestinians have the right to vote, to have freedom of expression, to be elected to the Knesset.
Were the Jews to expel the Arabs of Israel, they would be rightly condemned for ethnic cleansing, criticized by the world as well as by all freedom-loving Israelis.
Why is it not ethnic cleansing when Palestinian authorities demand that Jews be exiled from their communities - areas that in 1967 were mostly no man's land?
For 2,000 years, Jews have been 'settling' in foreign lands, building homes, establishing businesses, planting crops, only to be forcibly uprooted, the lands and holdings confiscated, and they themselves rounded up and put into ever-shrinking 'ghettos'.
In 1967, following a war of aggression launched against Israel by the combined armies of the Arab world, Israel recaptured Biblical Judea and Samaria from Jordan and recaptured the city of Jerusalem. The ability to keep the vow of, 'Never again!', was at last within their reach.
After two thousand years, Jews could again walk their own land, worship in their Holy City and be secure in the knowledge that they weren't building up wealth for somebody else to come along and take away.
Today, they find themselves being ethnically cleansed once again, but this time, by their own government. Emotions are running high, not just among settlers in the West Bank and Gaza, but also among Israelis living inside the Green Line.
If the Palestinians can force Israelis out of Judea and Samaria today, they reason, then there is no guarantee that they won't someday also be forced to walk away from the efforts of a lifetime after being declared 'Jews in a no-Jew Zone'.
Israel's newly restored religious Supreme Court, the Sanhedrin, recently issued a declaration regarding disengagement that almost guarantees a civil war among the Jews, should Sharon not be able to find a way to put Pandora back into her box.
"Following an intensive study which took place regarding the halachic (authentic Jewish law) questions that arise from the government's decision, the Sanhedrin hereby brings its conclusions and decisions to the public's attention.
1). The Prime Minister's program of uprooting stands in direct contradiction to the Torah of Israel.
2). The decision to implement the uprooting will cause large numbers of Jews to transgress many of the Torah's commandments. This applies to many varied commandments, including both those that are practiced between man and G-d, as well as those between man and his fellow man; those that apply to the nation as a whole, and those that apply to every individual.
3). The Government of Israel and the Knesset, in their present form and power structure, do not constitute institutions that have any authority according to halacha to render decisions that contradict the Torah of Israel.
4). Government ministers who have deemed this plan of uprooting to be wrongful have been removed from their positions, and likewise senior officials of the security establishment who have expressed independent opinions about the matter have been ousted.
5). THEREFORE, the decision of this government - which has also violated its promises to its own electorate - is null and void."
If this isn't enough, the Sanhedrin also ruled that "Any Jew who participates in, or cooperates with this plan, whether actively, or even by merely remaining silent, transgresses the commandment "You shall not stand idly by your neighbor's blood (Lev. 19:17)," and in the future will be judged by G-d for this sin . . ."
The Sanhedrin is Israel's supreme religious authority -- an authority so sacred and so revered that it remained disbanded for 1,600 years, waiting until the time of the coming of the Jewish Messiah before being reconstituted. As such, its rulings carry tremendous weight.
And one of its first rulings in 1600 years is to declare disengagement 'invalid'. That means that religious Jews (including those in the army) have a duty to disobey the government, soldiers have a duty to disobey their orders, and more than that, they have a duty to RESIST their own government's efforts.
It is a recipe for civil war. Not the civil war that the original 'unilateral' disengagement plan was designed to foment among the Palestinians, but a civil war between religious Jews and secular Jews at a time when they are surrounded by enemies dedicated to their destruction.
All the Arabs would need do is just sit back and wait.
Writing of the last days, the prophet Zechariah foretold a great destruction within Israel, followed by another temporary loss of half of Jerusalem.
"And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on My Name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is My people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God." (Zechariah 13:8-9)
Note that prophet doesn't make any mention of external enemies that will decimate Israel at this point. Instead, he pictures a religious battle, where the Lord will 'bring the third part through the fire' to 'refine' them in the religious sense, until finally, the remnant calls on the Name of the Lord.
But before that happens, the prophet says, the Lord will "gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city."
A civil war within Israel would give world leaders all the excuse they need to send in 'peacekeepers' to quell the unrest between the Israelis and settle the dispute by arbitrarily awarding half of Jerusalem and the land outside the Green Line to the Palestinian state.
This fits exactly with events the Bible describes as leading up to and into the Tribulation Period.
It is not until AFTER all this takes place that the Messiah returns to the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4) at the conclusion of the Battle of Armageddon, that Israel recognizes their Messiah.
"And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for his only Son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his Firstborn." (Zechariah 12:10)
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28)
