Thanks so much Ellen for your support; I think you have so rightly divided the events at our Lord's betrayal.  When He said "rise up, let us go hence".....I think this may be the time of the time that we "rise up".
Mr 14:42 - Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.

We know that the "hinderer" must be removed before the son of perdition is REVEALED.  "IN HIS TIME"........In the above statement of our Lord, He points to this "revealing" of the type of antichrist; i.e. Judas the betrayer.  The deciples had been "asleep", as the virgins will be at His midnight call.  I also like your seeing that the two false witnesses were presented shortly thereafter.   Wow; this would be the beast and the false prophet !
I have been going further into the forty days of His appearances.  I am seeing that these, too, are types of His "revealing" Himself to the Jews after the rapture.  You can see in many cases that the deciples did not "recognize" Him, like the brothers of Joseph did not recognize him.   This pictures the Jews as they slowly come to "recognize" their Messiah.   The forty days of His appearings and ascension are "forty days of testing", which I don't think the raptured Christians will see because they have already been tested.  So, I think the deciples' experiences following His resurrection are types of the Jews in the coming beginning of tribulation years.   You have rightly seen that Peter's denials are part of this tribulation scenario.  And that indeed there will be "weeping and gnashing of teeth....", by those who out of fear will deny knowing Christ.   When He ascended on the 40th day after firstfruits, the angels told them (the Jews, not us),  that "this same Christ will come again just as He has left you"......that is when He returns to the Mount of Olives which is right where he ascended from, when "His feet shall touch the Mount of Olives".   Then ten days following is Pentecost, picturing the "pouring out of the Holy Spirit upon ALL", of which we received the earnest of the gifts.   The Holy Spirit will be poured out in the huge latter rain of Hosea, upon the Jews, as they come into the recognition of their Lord.   I have not carefully gone into the tribulation events as seen by type in the days following our Lord's resurrection, with the deciples as types of tribulation saints, but will attempt that study in the next two weeks.
      Perhaps you can help and send me your insights, given you by the Holy Spirit.  Also, if you have read the calendar articles since my post on February 28, you will know that this year the Passover date may actually be March 24,  which is only 19 days away !
