Just my thoughts and musings for the day.......
In reading Zechariah chapter four, we have the prophet's vision of the seven lampstands, being supplied the continuous supply of oil from the bowl which is filled by the driipping two olive trees, in turn passing down tubes into the lampstands. These represent the seven churches, receiving the continuous supply of oil from our Father in heaven and Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is seen among these lampstands, walking among them, in the book of Revelation, judging them, just prior to the rapture.
Since we do see the churches in type here, we also see the Word of the Lord, saying that Zerubabbel shall hear the shouts of "GRACE, GRACE, unto it !", when the Lord brings froth the capstone.
Now, we are the temple of Christ, being built up. Back then, the returning Israelites were quite discouraged to find their temple in ruins, but are being reassured by God, that indeed it would be built. We are also said that Christ is our "head", and in Zechariah's vision, he is told about this "capstone", or stone that the builders rejected, being brought forth by God. So, when we, the temple, are about to be completed, God will bring the capstone, Christ, to us.
What is interesting, is that the shouts of GRACE, GRACE unto it!, should bring us to another consideration. The number 5 is the number of grace. Hence, the five wise virgins, and five foolish virgins, all of whom had received a supply of grace. It is also interesting that the ascension of our Lord will be celebrated this year on
5-5-5...........May 5, 2005. The man healed of paralysis after 38 years was near the sheep gate, at the Pool of Bethesda, which had FIVE porches. (The beginning of the healing of the Jews).
Wouldn't we all shout "GRACE, GRACE, UNTO IT !!!", if our Lord and Saviour would indeed return on May 5, 2005, this year, on His ascension.
Zechariah 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, 2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl F6 upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: 3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? 5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, F7 nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. 7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. 8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. 10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth. 11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? 12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through F8 the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? 13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 14 Then said he, These are the two anointed F9 ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
