For the first time in my 40 + years of living, I can say I am earnestly ASHAMED and DISAPPOINTED to be an American right now. :(
Same as you guys ~ in my heart and spirit (and often times even physically) ~ I have been CRYING this week over the hideous MURDER of Terri Schiavo.
It is my opinion that this country will sink further & further & now the judges (as this case obviously proves!!) will have the ability to order the murder of anyone they please. Oh, I'm not afraid of dying at the hands of one of the liberal judges; if they want to send me on to heaven sooner, I won't complain. But it just grieves me so badly that in just a handful of decades we have gone from a "Leave it to Beaver" world ~ to a world where nobody gives a hoot about the life of another person. Bottom line: if someone gets in our way, we can put them out of OUR misery!! It's all about money and politics.
We have literally lost our FREEDOM of life!!
We feel so helpless, cause there's not a blasted thing any of us can do to save Terri, or to protect your, mine, and our freedom to life in this country any more.
As I've stated previously, I think Jesus is on the horizon of coming for us & it is my prayer that He will come even this very Easter weekend!! *AMEN!*
But just a word of encouragement to all of us ~ it's good to know that God WILL balance the scales & those who "think" they are getting away with murder & will not have to give an account for it -- well, they'll think twice when they're standing in front of God Almighty, shaking to their very core. NO APPEALS!!! No liberal judges. They will KNOW they are guilty.
Thanks for listening to me ramble. I just hurt so much over this. Some times I feel guilty for going on about life as normal -- while it is ANYTHING BUT NORMAL right now!! But on the other hand, some times I think if I don't take little breaks & carry on with life as usual, that I will just be done in by the injustice & brutal murder of this woman & her story. I pray so much for her parents & for those who really DO love her!! What a tragedy to have to endure.
Her husband's *joy* of having her, at last, finally murdered will be fleeting and will last but only for a moment in the whole scope of eternity. His inherited money will do him no good in the tribulation.
It is my prayer that, during her last moments on earth, Terri will feel the very presence of God -- and that will be so strong that it will drown out the PAIN she feels from dehydration. *AMEN*
For those who want to know about how um, "peaceful" it is to be dehydrated to death -- please read the snippet about it at the Family Research Council. http://www.frc.org/get.cfm?i=LH05C02
And for those who wonder what decision we would make if placed under similar circumstances, consider this: {also came from the same link}
Natural DeathThere is a difference between prolonging life and prolonging death. If a person is dying naturally, there is nothing immoral or unethical about allowing death to occur and not halting or prolonging the natural process of dying. However, Terri is not dying. She is living and it is morally wrong to end her life by removing food and water. Dying is a natural part of life. God has ordained that all men shall die once. The Christian should not fear death for we know there is a greater place waiting for those who know God.
Just like Lot -- who was grieved constantly over all the evil in his day, so we feel the same way now. We are grieved to the core over Terri & her brutal murder. Yes, innocent babies in the womb are murdered every day; we grieve for them, too.
You know, it was one thing to watch Greta's show for an entire year & listen to the soap opera of Scott Peterson killing his wife. But it's quite another to actually WATCH an aware, innocent, living, breathing person being killed at the hands of the liberal judges!! Even Drudge Report is saying it's merely a matter of DEATH WATCH now. It's beyond words how it sickens me to the core.
Maybe she will, in fact, pass on "Good Friday" ~ as we know SOMEONE ELSE "very special" died on that day as well.
MARANATHA ~ Please, PLEASE come SOON, Lord Jesus!! ~ and God's people said??
***AMEN***!!
