"Babylon's 70 years are up, part 2"

In Jeremiah 29:10, God says, "When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you . . ".

So, as I have thought about Jesus' parable of the fig tree relative to the length of a generation, I have been wondering also about when the "end-of-the-church-age" Babylon's 70 years would start and end, and with this coming to an end before God fulfilling His good word.

{I do not want to go into detail as to why I believe the US, with the UN headquarters, has been seduced over time to become a version of Babylon at this time.  John was told that where our Lord was crucified was spiritually/mystically Egypt and Sodom in Revelation 11:8. I am seeing the US/UN in a similar way, but as Babylon [and Sodom?].  One thing I will point out is that the day after the 9th of Av in 1492, the day after all jews were to be out of Spain, that Columbus took off from the Spanish coast.  Subsequent events would eventually result in a country coming into existence (the US) that God would raise up on the world stage to not only become a safe home for the jews, but through which He would also bless the world through the sharing of the good news of Jesus, and in other ways.  However, over many years, the US has been seduced into functioning as an empire, with a focus on using its power to amass wealth and global dominance, and thus morphing into a larger-scale expression of the head of Gold in Nebuchanezzar's dream.  As I hope to lay out, the age of grace also comes to a close on the day after Tisha B Av this year, when the end-of-the-church-age Babylon's judgement will be fully accomplished, the same day, per the jewish calendar, that Columbus took off from the Spanish coast many years prior.}

I used to try and reference a counting of 70 years for Babylon from when Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948 by trying to find a significant date where the US/UN "shot a move" to undermine Israel, thinking that this moment would be the starting point for Babylon's 70 years.  However, no particular action on the part of the UN/US really stood out.  And now that we are in the 72nd year since Israel declared itself a nation, I was at a loss trying to think in terms of not only Babylon's 70 years, but Israel's as well.

In retrospect, I had failed to take into account a significant "clue-like" detail Jesus had given us in the parable of the fig tree and also a second set of validating "clues" God gave us found in Genesis about Enoch.

Jesus told us to think in terms of when the fig tree's branches had become tender and it put forth leaves.  This is key.  When I have planted trees, it was not until the following year, when I observed signs of new growth (leaves), that I then knew the tree was "established".  I believe this is what Jesus is pointing us to.  I had grabbed May 14th in 1948 too quickly as my reference point for counting, instead of using 1949.

I think God understood my naive impulse to begin a counting of years from 1948 instead of 1949, so He provided another clue to let me know that I needed to "insert a year" after May 14, 1948.  This clue is found in a number of details about Enoch in Genesis 5:21-24.

Enoch is the first mention in scripture about a person being raptured.  This is meaningfully significant in and of itself.  The idea of "first mention" is that it provides key, or foundational understanding, to subsequent "mentions".

Also, Enoch was a gentile who was raptured.  I knew I needed to pay especially close attention to this.

He also lived 365 years, the same number of days in my gentile, Gregorian year.  Not a coincidence at all in my thinking.

Genesis 5:21-24 is a clue for me, a gentile who is about to get raptured, to somehow take into account this "Enoch year".  But, on what basis do I insert this possible "add a year" clue into my counting from when Israel became a nation in 1948?  God has another clue-like detail to justify my doing this in how He brakes the 365 down into a 65 and a 300.

The day after Israel declared themselves a nation, they began to fight their war of independence.  From what I have read, it lasted 300 days.  Coincidence?  In the days following they entered into cease-fire like agreements with surrounding nations.  By May 14, 1949, with the additional 65 of Enoch, Israel showed themselves as there to stay.  In other words, they were established.  The fig tree's branches were tender and they had put forth leaves before summer.  Enoch's "add a year" clue fits with Jesus' "branches putting forth leaves" clue.

Now I can think in terms of Israel's "70 years" and also Babylon's, as I reference 1949 as my start point.  Yet, I am still back to trying to determine what date in 1949 to use to start my 70 year count for Babylon.  At first I was making it complicated, trying to pull up archived newspaper articles on the internet in looking for some obscure event that might be significant.  Then, it finally hit me.  How do we and even little children count their years?  By their birthdays.  As I became childlike, in a way, then "I saw". It was a timing clue out in plain sight all along.  How many fireworks shows had I seen over the years?

The 70 years for Babylon, after which God will start to fulfill His good word, starts on July 4, 1949 and ends July 4, 2019.  From clues in Daniel 5, I am thinking it could be over sometime at night (the MIDdle of the NIGHT in some time zone?) and that there will not be even one day added by God as an extension, before judgement begins (but with its final "day" being 40 days later, the day after Tisha B Av this year).

In Daniel 5, the last king of Babylon, on what would be the last day of not only his reign, but of the Babylonian empire itself, decided to a have a "celebration".  In vs. 2, as he was tasting the wine, he decided, of all days, to then bring out God's temple vessels and to not only drink out of them, but to even toast to his gods with those very vessels.  Why do this and at that time?

I speculate that he knew about Jeremiah's 70 year prophecy.  Per Daniel himself, Belshazzar was well aware of what Nebuchanezzar went through for 7 years when he, in pride, exulted himself against the God, not only of Israel-Judah, but the God of gods who had raised up Nebuchanezzar as king to begin with.  I think Belshazzar might have been a little concerned about Jeremiah's 70 year prophecy coming true like the warning God gave Nebuchanezzar through Daniel's dream-interpretation prior.

So, why was Belshazzar celebrating at this time along with the expression of defiance against the God of Israel-Judah?  Because I think he thought he was in the clear, that the 70 years had come and gone, and that nothing happened, and therefore, in his mind, his gods were more powerful than the God of Israel-Judah.  That was why he was celebrating and also decided to use God's temple vessels to toast and give praise his gods.  "My gods are better than the God of Israel-Judah."

Belshazzar thought his count was valid because it appeared to him that nothing had happened.  Little did he know, the enemy was already active and that night it would then be over for him.  That is why, through Daniel's interpretation of the handwriting on the wall, Belshazzar was told, "God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it."  That night, Belshazzar was dead and Babylon fell.

This is why I am thinking that on another day of celebration, a day that has become an expression of pride, on a day that a country will have a number of folks getting drunk, but instead of toasting to other gods they will be toasting to themselves, that this other empire-like country will also fall.   I am thinking that on July 4, 2019, another Babylon, at the exact end of her 70 years, will fall, and possibly by that night.

I believe it will also be the time of our "harpatzo".  As I have studied Babylon's judgements in Jeremiah 50 and 51, I see indications of what seem to be descriptions of an asteroid(s), tsunami(s), and earthquake(s) followed by enemy attacks.  My speculation is that it will be devastation on "day one", but will unfold over 40 days and be over about Tisha B Av, and definitely no later than August 13/14.  Why August 13/14?

A sign in the heavens last year pointed to this final end point.  On August 13/14, Jupiter passed, for the third time (third "witness"), just below a star in the scales of Libra called Zeben El Genubi.  The star means "price is deficient".  This is what God told Belshazzar, through Daniel, in Daniel 5:27, "you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient".  That night the Babylonian kingdom was over.  Zeben El Genubi's ecliptic coordinates are 14h 50m 41.26s.  I have confirmed that Jupiter passed this point the night of August 13th last year.

July 3/4, 2019 is also the 1st day of the 4th month on the popular jewish calendar, which converts to the 1st day of the 10th month on Noah's calendar.  This date, per Genesis 8: 5 and 6, started a 40 day window before the raven was released.  I believe this raven represents the first seal of Revelation being opened and the evil one's pseudo-messiah will begin to manefest on the world stage, the day after Tisha B Av.  More on this later.

That same day is also, on the Spica-Abib calendar, the 17th day of the 3rd month, the very day God came down at Mount Sinai during a long, loud trumpet blast, and called Moses up, and he went up, while a cloud rested on the top of the mountain.  Moses was on the mountain 40 days. Moses' 40 days on one calendar is dovetailing with the same 40 days of Noah on the popular jewish calendar. More on this later.

July 2nd is the 15th day of the 3rd month on the Spica-Abib calendar, the day Israel arrived at Mt. Sinai and got the "get ready for on the third day, or the day after tomorrow, you are going to meet God" heads-up.  I am thinking the body of Christ might get a heads-up that day in some way also.  I do not know what that will be.  It is interesting to me that the time of the Great South American Solar Eclipse is also July 2nd.  More on this later.

But, before I get into the above, I want to touch on how the ending of Babylon's 70 years is actually a few weeks before when Israel's "70 years" also come to a close.
