"THE POWER OF PRAISE AND THE RAPTURE"

Those of us who acknowledge that Jesus Christ is our Lord and God have been created by Him to praise Him forever. It's one of our main jobs! "I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forever more." [Psalm 86:12]

This is why Peter wrote:"...you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God..."[Pet.2:9,10]

We're still observing the 2 week Passover feast of the 2nd Month until the 7th of June 2017. And as royal priests we should all be proclaiming the Lord's praises until He comes. The Lord's glorious power dwells within our praises. And He's going to eventually use this power to transform our bodies when He comes for us in the Rapture "He has exalted the horn [that is, the power] of His people, the praise of all His saints..." [Psalm 148:14]

"So the children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with great gladness; and the Levites and the priests praised the Lord day by day, singing to the Lord, accompanied by loud instruments...Then the whole assembly agreed to keep the feast another seven days, and they kept it another seven days with gladness." [2 Chr.30:21,23]

"...our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself." [Phil.3:20,21]

The fact that the Lord has to subdue the powers of darkness to bring about the Rapture indicates a fierce battle is now being fought in the spirit realm between Michael and his army and the Devil and his army. It will ultimately end in victory for the Lord when we're raised up into heaven and God's wrath starts to fully reign down on earth. "And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." [Rev.12:7-9]

"...the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe..." [2Thess.1:7-10]

Between now and the Day of our redemption let's continue to praise the Lord!!!

"Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful." [Psalm 147:1] "Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being."[Psalm 146:1,2] "I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable." [145:1-3]
