"What happens when someone misses the blessed hope?"

What happens when someone misses the blessed hope?
If that person has considered that they were Christian, what then?
They would know that others were now gone safely to be with Jesus.
Will they think that maybe they had never been saved in the first place?
What would be their reaction to that?
Would they fall on their knees and cry out to Jesus to save them?
Would they consider that they may now soon be martyred?
Or will they think that they had not been "in the bride"?
What would they do then, if they thought that was the case?
Would they repent of their wickedness and worldliness?
Would they consider that they may now soon be martyred?
Or will they be deceived?
Will they end up believing a lie?
Will they end up worshipping the beast?
Or would they blame Jesus, somehow, for their plight?
	Would their heart harden?
Would they turn to hate Jesus and those who will call on him?
Will they face Jesus, as an enemy, at his return?
Or is there some other scenario that I didn't consider?
