"
"The feast of trumpets is called Yom Teruah - “Day of the Blowing of Trumpets” - Lev. 23 all Jews were called to remember their sins on this feast. Teruah - “Memorial of Triumph” or “Shouting of Joy” -
In Judaism The Blowing of the Shofar is linked to the sacrifice of Isaac because a ram was used in his stead. It is representative of repentance because it is curved.
The Trumpet Blasts consist of 100 notes sounded, 4 different types of notes are sounded.
Tekiah'= one long, single blast; its straight, plain, smooth, a continuous note. It is a Symbol of joy and contentment.
Shevarim = 3 short blasts; 3 broken notes, it is a symbol of sobbing.
Teruah = extremely short, 9 in a row; trills, it is a symbol of trepidation, fear, and sorrow. The first 99 notes, are a mixture of 3 types of notes.
Tekiah Gedolah = The “Great Trump” or what is known as the “Last Trump” is the 100th note blown. It is as long as blower can hold his breath. It is a symbol of redemption, resurrection, and restoration of Israel.
This is not to be confused with the trumpets of judgement in Revelation."
