John RP (28
June 2011) "Why are large stores
suddenly stocking emergency food supplies?"
John & Doves,
Costco and Sam's club are both selling emergency food
rations... ie: a three month supply of food for 2 or a
year supply of food for a family of 4. I noticed it at
Costco a few months ago and more recently at Sam's
you search either site for emergency food, you will find
a large selection to choose from. Why
would major store chains get into this at this time? Do
they know something they aren't telling us?
Something similar was going on at the end of 1999, but
not to the extent it is now. I just find it very
odd as if they've been informed of something.
(It seems a bit early for December 2012).
