"Historic dig underneath
the Temple Mount"
John and Doves,
1. 1st and 2nd Temple to be unearthed
The world is about to see the remains of the 1st Temple ( Solomon's
Temple ) and the 2nd Temple ( during Jesus' lifetime ), due to an
historic archeological dig.
"Mazar said she is
"absolutely sure" remains from the First and Second Temple periods,
including "the Second Temple itself," as well as later remains from the
Byzantine and early Islamic periods, are just under the surface of the
Temple Mount."

My personal belief is that this archeological dig may uncover the
Ark of the Covenant. As we all know, the Ark was encased in gold,
with a golden lid on top ( Exodus 25 ) . Above the lid was seen the
Shekinah glory of the Lord, when He manifested Himself by His
Presence in the Temple. ( Exodus 25: 21, 22 )
God Himself abode above the mercy seat ( Ark ). A cherubim
was on each side of Him.
2. Man of sin sitting on the Ark
Another personal belief I have concerning this Ark of the Covenant
is that a certain dignitary will attend ceremonies there underneath the
Temple Mount, when Israel showcases this newly found Ark. This
dignitary will possibly sit on the golden lid of the Ark, thus
demonstrating a blasphemy, since the Ark was reserved for the Divine
alone.
This is definitely something to be watching for.
2 Thessalonians 2: 4 tells us that the man
of sin ( the future antichrist ) will sit in the Temple as God "showing
himself that he is God ". Sitting upon the lid is "showing"
himself as God, even though that person is not elevated above
the mercy seat.
It IS possible that, through occultic
powers, this future antichrist could levitate above
the Ark's lid, since the Bible also says in 2 Thessalonians 2: 9
that this person can perform "lying wonders"
( Satan giving him that power Rev. 13: 2.)
3. Assassination attempt and "Recovery"
Also -- and this is just my own personal perception -- it is
conceivable that some orthodox Israeli, or any one of fervent religious
beliefs -- could ( I stress "could " ) possibly make an
assassination attempt against this dignitary, who at that time would
receive a head wound ( Rev. 13: 3, 12, 14 ) and supposedly
"dies".
Lying with pixels http://hopetotheend.com/fool.html
But this notable dignitary will "recover" ( another lying
wonder ) and will become the antichrist, as all the world wonders after
him. He will then continue for 42 months ( 3 and 1/2 years ) as stated
in Rev. 13 : 5.
4. Jeremiah 3:16 -- Ark is no longer significant
Now before all this begins, it is well to note that God told Jeremiah
the prophet in Jeremiah 3:16 that the Ark of the
Covenant was of no spiritual value at all any more. This is
what the Bible says :
"And it shall come to pass, when ye be
multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD,
they shall say no more,
" The ark of the covenant of the LORD:
neither shall it come to mind:
neither shall they remember it;
neither shall they visit it;
neither shall that be done any more" Jeremiah 3:16
5. A military presence needed to keep the peace
This archeological dig is a powder keg between the Israelis and the
Palestinians. The prevailing mindset in the past is noted here :
"Mindful that the compound has the potential to
trigger devastating conflict, Israel's policy is to allow no
excavations there. Digging under Temple Mount, the Israeli historian
Gershom Gorenberg has written, "would be like trying to figure out how
a hand grenade works by pulling the pin and peering inside."

So, in order to maintain 'Peace and safety' during this archeological
expedition, a military presence is needed at the Temple Mount to help
both parties involved to remain calm during the time
of this dig. If Israeli police monitor the Mount, then the
Palestinians will disapprove. If the Palestinians patrol the area, then
the Israelis will disapprove.
So.....there has to be an outside force to maintain the
peace. This situation could call for a foreign army to come
in and patrol the Temple Mount area in order to guarantee the peace.

This could be a Hot summer. Our Lord tells us in Matthew
24: 32, 33 that when we see that summer is near, we
are to know that we are at the doors ... we our very selves will be at
the historic portals that open up to perhaps the Rapture, the Great
Tribulation, the revealing of the antichrist and the false prophet and
all that follows.
We are at the doors.
In Him,
