"Subcommittee calls for
U.S. to cut funding to the UN"
John and Doves,
One finds it interesting that the US House Foreign Affairs subcommittee
on the Middle East is calling for our Secretary of State to
cut our funds to the UN, should the UN recognize a Palestinian
state -- even prior to an agreement.
How "fortunate" .. what a "coincidence" ! If we are disregarded
-- for lack of funding -- then that makes a way for the EU to play a
much more dominant role at the UN, having
been recently made a "quasi-member".
We could possibly be ousted from having any say in that
matter > > Would Ban really ban us ?
And
we all know that the EU is favoring the Palestinians, despite
U.S. opposition .
Could this be orchestrated ?

"The resolution calls on the Secretary
of State to withdraw American funding for the UN General Assembly if it
“adopts a resolution in favor of recognizing a state of Palestine outside
of or prior to a final status agreement
negotiated between, and acceptable to, the State of Israel and the
Palestinians.”
