    Jennie,

    You stated:

Friday nightfall to Saturday nightfall  =  Day 1
Saturday nightfall to Sunday nightfall = Day 2
Sunday nightfall to Monday nightfall  = Day 3

    But my understanding is:

Thursday Sundown to Friday Sundown=  Day 1
Friday Sundown to Saturday Sundown = Day 2
Saturday Sundown to Sunday Sundown = Day 3

    The Torah States:
"It was evening and it was morning, one day."

So I conclude that Friday began after Sundown on or Thursday!

So Pentecost would correctly fall on Sunday.

    From Wiki:
Pentecost is part of the Moveable Cycle of the ecclesiastical year. According to Christian tradition, Pentecost is always seven weeks after EasterComputus for the calculation of the date of Easter). Sunday; that is to say, 50 days after Easter (inclusive of Easter Day). In other words, it falls on the eighth Sunday, counting Easter Day.

I don't know if there is a specific Bible verse though.
