Jim - I really enjoyed your post. Lovely. I had to reply as my first Filipino friend is a male nurse in one of England's leading hospitals. I was very ill and Arnold (such an English name!!) was the only nurse I would allow near me. He was gentle, kind and compassionate. He had the biggest smile and was - by far - the best nurse I've ever encountered. An incredible person too.
