Adam and Even chose knowledge over walking personally with The Lord through the Garden of Eden.  So He let them make their choice.
They gave into the temptation of the serpent rather to know everything carnal rather than to know their Creator.

We humans have a choice to make, live for Jesus and His Father Jehovah, or ourselves, or enhance ourselves as humans through the available demonic means.  The devil gives out the rewards here because this is all the heaven people in his service will ever get.  He also
does that to motivate the damned to commit more and more wicked acts.

The devil and the other 1/3 of the heavenly host rejected The Lord after they had seen and lived in the bask of Jehovah's glory.  They thought that they had enough of Jehovah and picked Lucifer and were evicted.  So, Jesus came and bought us, then went to build a place for their replacement - The Church!

Our existence in this dimension is simply time and space to repent before we get to the next step of eternity - Heaven or Hell.  The funny thing that the damned will suffer in hell is that they will never escape from the presence of Jesus Christ because the Book of Revelation declares that The Lamb reigns over hell.  They can hate Jesus now all they want, but they will be stuck with The One they hate the most at the end of their destructive hellish lives.  The devil is here to run the show and set up his shop.  All humans have to choose between our capable God Jehovah and His Son The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth or the kingdom and principalities of this world.

That's the bottom line.  If we are willing to serve and know and live for our God, King, and Lord, whom we have yet to set our eyes on, living in heaven for eternity will be easy, because we have sought to know Him and His power while we could not see Him, touch Him, or audibly hear His voice.

That was not the case for the devil and 1/3 of the heavenly host and they rejected The Lord of Glory.  That one third could not handle eternity!  They preferred the imitation.  Adam and Eve did, and so do most people - especially in the United States of America.  The Lord wants people that want to be with Him.  That's why He died for us.  Are we dying to be with Him?  Are we dying daily and living a crucified life of our own?  I've been saved for 27 years and that is still a tough thing for me - even after The Lord has worn me down big time.  He deserves our sacrificed lives, our obedience, our repentance, and our loyalty to His Kingdom above any of men.

I NEED YOUR HELP!  I CONDUCT A SMALL JAIL MINISTRY AND I HAVE BEEN PRESENTED WITH A QUESTION NEITHER I NOR MY PASTOR HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ANSWER SATISFACTORILY.  THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION MAY POSSIBLY DETERMINE WHETHER THIS INDIVIDUAL WILL EVER BE ABLE TO OVERCOME GRIEVOUS HURTS FROM THE PAST & TRUST IN GOD ENOUGH TO GIVE HER LIFE OVER TO CHRIST!

THE QUESTION IS THIS:

AFTER SATAN'S FALL, WHY DID GOD ALLOW HIM TO DECEIVE ADAM AND EVE, AND TO CONTINUE TO RUN RAMPANT THROUGHOUT THE EARTH DESTROYING LIVES WHEN GOD COULD HAVE SIMPLY CAST HIM INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE FROM THE BEGINNING AND HAVE IT DONE WITH, SPARING MANKIND (INCLUDING ADAM AND EVE)?

MY PASTOR SAYS ITS BECAUSE SATAN SERVES THE PURPOSES OF GOD.  BUT THAT IS TOO GENERAL A STATEMENT, AND IT JUST DOESN'T CUT THE MUSTARD WITH THIS INDIVIDUAL, WHO CANNOT SEE THE GOODNESS OF GOD IN SUCH A SCENARIO!
