Hi John and Doves, I've been having this strange recurring dream for the last couple of years and have no idea what it could mean. I used to wait tables when I was younger and the dream takes place in the restraunt that I worked at for most of my waiting "career". Each time, it's the same restraunt, but the scenery is different (typical dream wierdness), but the same thing happens in each dream: I get to work and start getting ready for the night. I start copying the specials and while doing this, I get seated. Before I get to them, I get another table, then another and another. I keep trying to get the specials copied down, then get caught up in other duties. Meanwhile, my 4 tables are still waiting for me to get there and start taking the orders. I get completely bogged down and stressed out and never get all the specials copied and never get to my tables to greet them.
Can anyone out there tell me what this means, if anything? I have had this dream probably 5 times now. Am I subconciously telling myself that I'm not ready? If any of you are good at interpreting dreams, I would love some insight.
