The only issue I have with the “Dead in Christ”
is that the author, Paul, would be left behind to endure the rapture.
Very unlikely!!

that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord
forever. 18Therefore
encourage each other with these words.
And finally, why Paul say to “encourage
each other with these things, in verse 18
We can’t switch back and forth between “literal”
and figurative translations, can we?
