"To Deborah on"he shall not regard the God of his fathers""

I accept your better understanding of this statement in Daniel, and that Daniel is saying, in parlance
of his own times, that the antichrist would have to be Jewish.

So that still raises the question, who is Jewish?

Among all the usual suspects of being antichrist, who is Jewish in "race" if not religion?  I don't think
any of the usual suspects at this time are Jewish in religion.

Sarkozy is famously descended from modern-day practicing Jews, as well as from gentiles.

Prince Charles' family trace their line to David.

Diana Spencer had Merovingian blood, and the Meros trace their line to Jews as well as gentiles, and her sons are Meros.

Barack Obama's genealogy has really gotten the once-over, with all sorts of obscure traces to Jews.  On his Kenyan father's
side, the trace to Jewish bedouins is rather slight, but the trace on his mother's Dunham side does go through the "usual"
hidden or not-so-hidden Jewish forebears of his predecessors the Bushes, Clinton, and in fact almost all of our presidents.
This is a controversial study, but it does seem that most of our presidents were descended from "hidden" Jews in Scotland
and England, mostly Scotland and the Scotch-Irish part of Ireland.  One of the more controversial new books on this is
"When Scotland Was Jewish", which traces the many Hebrews who came to Scotland in the l2, l3th and l4th centuries, where
they became the large landowners, nobles, and royals of Scotland.  The book does not trace these Hebrews to Abraham, but
to converts to Judaism in Spain and France during the centures 500-800 AD, with subsequent marriages to some descendants
of Abraham.  And this book does not discuss Obama, but he is discussed in this light elsewhere.

So now, who's left.  The present king of Jordan had a partially Jewish mother, from the Gardiners of England, but she converted
to Islam.  She still lives in Amman, I read, and had three other children with King Hussein of Jordan.  It's on-line.  This is a pretty
thin thread, too.

King Juan Carlos of Spain has the same heredity as Prince Charles, more or less.  So does his son, Felipe.

Javier Solana is a mystery.  He had a Scottish grandmother, Constance Archibald.  Did she have the "Scotland was Jewish"
genes?  His family was into Baha'i, a syndretic religion, but that's not "Jewish" per se.

It would be fun to be a little bird in the office of the Lord Lyon, the pedigree expert of the United Kingdom, who studies "descent"
full time among the pedigreed people of UK and the whole world.
