"Good spiritual news on Michael Jackson, to Cheryl!"

That is wonderful news that he accepted the true Lord only three weeks before death, as reported
by Andre Crouch's wife.

Perhaps that is why the Lord took him BEFORE his tour of England.  The Lord wanted to keep him
from further sin in the show-biz world.

I read a touching comment about Jackson from a Christian on the Constance Cumbey blog.  "Joyce"
said that he had been castrated before he was a teen by his father, so that he would retain his
beautiful soprano voice.  Although this sounds like a wild rumor, it makes outstanding sense to me.
He did have the voice of a castrated male, although I can imagine he might have later taken testosterone
to reverse what could have been done to him as a child.  Joyce said that he was an abused child.
Joyce is usually pretty strict about the faith, but she could see where he might have had a real
excuse for the excesses which plagued his life.  And that the Lord took pity on him near the end of
his life.

Lisa Marie Presley said that her marriage to him was NOT a sham, it was a "real marriage".  Whatever
one may think about what celebrities say, I believe he could have had a real relationship with Lisa Marie,
his wife, if he took testosterone to reverse damage.   But he still was self-destructive and the marriage
failed.

Since this is almost the only news the media has given us in the last few days, I am happy I can accept
a positive spin on it.   We thought it was sham news to blind us, but maybe it was really the good news
to encourage us.

I was never a "fan" of his, but the tapes played over the weekend showed an incredible talent.  I grew up
with dancing and music in the same high school as Quincy Jones in Seattle, and I have an appreciation
for an amazing dancer.  I did ballet, not the stuff Jackson did, but what he did still showed his
skill as a dancer and a musician.

Praise God for his mercies to us all.
