Many have struggled with what God is trying to tell us with the passing of so many famous folks over the past week.  Two things come to mind:

Act 10:34     Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.

Lev 19:4    Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I [am] the LORD your God.


We are all mortals...and each of us will stand before God alone regardless of how big our fan club was here on Earth.
