You are correct in that David Flynn did call it a resurrection rather than rapture and he said that he assumed that it included the living at the time with the dead in Christ. There was speculation by listeners to one of the interviews that if the last seven years are to begin in July, then there must be a rapture coming too, to which David Flynn and Steve Quayle both said that they were not saying that. Anyway, you are correct and I agree with you that he is very difficult to pin down. I get on the edge of my seat whenever he even gets on the subject but then he never seems to completely say in plain terms just what he thinks and you have to piece bits of info together and try to get just what it is that he is saying. (I wish he could find this site and post here but I'm sure he's busy and if he is not looking for a rapture with us, maybe he would not be interested in a site like this anyway...?)
 
Well, the biggest point that I wanted to make in bringing them up at all is that I asked God how it was that such learned guys as these could be overlooking the blessed hope and thinking that we would be here for even part of the trib. (By the way, I just remembered that I did hear Flynn say that there are a wide variety of beliefs about the rapture and that in many people's view, he himself would be a "mid-trib" person because he sees it coming in the middle of the last seven years at 2012. But he calls only the last three and a half years "The Tribulation".) Well, God's answer to me was that once people like Flynn and Quayle have closed their mind to a pre trib rapture, then God lets them do that and He then begins to have them prepare themselves and their listeners for what is coming. The sad thing is that if they do stay when the invitation is given, they have maybe been believing that they will be protected by God through it, and I don't know that they will be. But God gives grace to the humble and even though someone can understand all these amazing things such as Flynn does, it is no guarantee that they will understand how to escape in the right time. I am very sad by this and have wished that I could say this sort of thing to Flynn and share with him why I believe we are going first (before July 11) but even if I could talk to him, who am I that he would listen to me? I am not scholarly like him, even as you mentioned. I do hope that he sees our hope before it is too late and that he gets in before the door closes. What a time this is to be living!
