"Arlene's Post Regarding Pentecost"
I really think Arlene has some great ideas,
here!

And
about the "being seen of them forty days" (Acts 1:3) verse, John 20:1,19,16 and
John 21:1,14 seem to indicate that He was not seen of them for eight days
between day one and the "after 8 days" day (which was the second time He showed
Himself... the sea of Tiberias being the third time).
So, if 8 days are
blocked out at the beginning (when He was not seen of them), one does not arrive
at day 40 for an ascension, but more likely, as Arlene suggests, on day 50
(Pentecost).
As others have pointed out, June 7 might be the 8th day of
that (possible) week-long festival, and is also a full moon. (Proverbs 7:19-20;
Psalm 81:3 some versions have "full moon" instead of "in the time
appointed").
Also, Daniel's 2520 days (and other day-amounts) still seem
to line up fairly well from that June 7 date. I'll have to check that again for
sure.
Very interesting things! :)
