1 Cor 10:31 (9 June 2009)
"continued prayers going up for you guys"

for you John:  HEALING!!   You once mentioned sitting at StarBucks w/your laptop in tow, so some how this is how I've always come to visualize you!  ... sitting on the "other side of the world" at a StarBucks (maybe a beach nearby?)   At any rate, maybe a lil' DECAFF (<-- ha!) Latte' will help your sickness??....    :)   But now that's not gonna' taste too good with grapefruit seed extract that Ms. Agee suggests.....  smile again....  at any rate, praying the Lord will touch you!

Ha ha ... Reva.
Thanks!
John

for you Bill Lane:  dental work & the other physical ailments/trials you're having to endure.... an ol' saying we once heard in a Branson-style music show was, "I'm just fine for the shape I'm in!"   We have laughed over that many times over the years, as many of us get to feeling that way.  The Lord knows all about you, Bill, and your situation!

for the family of the little boy who choked to death on a carrot... .how very, very (incredibly!)  sad!!  Praying for each & every family member!  And that friends will know how to minister to them.

for Kirby (Peggy's ex)... that he will turn to Jesus to be his constant friend!

for Jason (Cathy's son)... the Lord knows how to direct him  and for Cathy ~ your incredible pain!!  Can't wait to celebrate (eternally!)  with you... when it is gone & will not come back to taunt you for even one minute second!!!

and praying for Susan's 20 y/o daughter!!

Susan, the verse you're thinking of is from Hebrews 64 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

and while God's Word stands 100% true all the time, let it also be known that there is balance, and
I believe Scripture allows a person to go out into their "prodigal state" for a while; and from then on, only the Lord alone knows when the cut off time is for any such person.   Many of us are "prodigals who HAVE returned", so keep that hope & faith in your heart, Susan!  Pray for your DD each & every day, but also turn her over to the Lord!  If HE loves each & every one to ALLOW people TO choose Him or reject Him... their choice ~ then how can we possibly love them any less?  [that revelation came to me one day when I was begging Him for my brother's soul for about the millionth time!]  I know this heart-wrenching pain is difficult, because she IS your daughter, your love, the one you labored over & brought into this world, the one you love with your heart & soul.  {Boy, is satan working on today's young people overtime!!  We must fight to reclaim them.... praying that the Lord will place the DESIRE in their hearts to return!!... that they will lose their love for every "thing" in the world (that they, in their temporarily blinded state, think brings pleasure to them}

Praying that you, Susan, will love the Lord SO much that you are willing to follow Him even if it means leaving your daughter (not a pleasant thought I know, but this is how much love he seems to require of us... and it may not nec. mean to leave her physically... unless, of course, should the rapture come first.... but to at least love Him enough to be WILLING to....) and then it is my prayer that because you will follow Him "no matter what"... that this will lead your daughter back as well!!   Praying extra!  Praying heartily!!  I have another friend (yet to meet physically) in Australia (isn't that where you're from?); & she has a prodigal son as well.  Perhaps if, even in your pain, if you will pray for Essie's son to return to the Lord, .... (well, I just always remember Job:  the Lord turned his circumstances around after Job prayed for his friends )

Praying for each & every prayer request put forth here, even if we don't have time to respond to each & every one.
TTTT    <--- till the trumpet toots.....
