I have to agree that the generation that is alive here on earth is certainly a privileged and blessed people. However, I absolutely cannot attribute it to luck. Nothing that is in the Lord's timing and planning has anything to do with luck and I would also not want to compare us being placed at this time to winning a lottery. Proverbs 16:33 says "The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD". In other words there is nothing that is left to random chance. Physicists will tell you while certain things can appear operate under some general stochastic principles, that there really is not any such thing as randomness or luck in the truest definition. Evolutionists believe it was incredible luck that just the right random chemistry formed the building blocks of life on the ancient earth and later resulted in us being here. We all know that random processes (or luck) had nothing to do with it. There is also a a belief that the root of luck or "luc" relates to Lucifer. I don't know that to be a certainty, but it would not surprise me.
