Mr. Thomas says:"I had hope by now the speculation about a Pentecost Rapture would have subsided and we would be focused on the main event Rosh Hashanah. Now we are hearing that Pentecost is actually August 1st and for all these thousands of years the Jews have been celebrating the wrong day! Some seem so vested in their wrong interpretation of scripture that they simply skip Rosh Hashanah and go to Pentecost 2009. Now will this be Pentecost on August 1 of 2009 or some other Pentecost among all those mentioned. Don't get me wrong I wont fault someone for their understanding of scripture, but when it has proven to be incorrect stop beating a dead horse". ... Oliver ThomasThis horse that you claim is dead....if it is dead, why is it still running around? Sounds like whoever killed it or thinks it is dead is imagining things. Furthermore, I believe you will be seeing this very horse ride right on through Rosh Hashana 2008 and on to the Rapture on Pentecost 2009. Then, the white, red, black, and pale horses will ride on through the Tribulation up to the fulfillment of Rosh Hashana in 2015 (or 16) by the Second Coming.Everybody's belief is based on an interpretation of Scripture. What we all need to admit is that we believe that our interpretation of unfulfilled prophecy is correct....we don't know that it is. The Pentecost 2009 Rapture has not been proven to be incorrect, nor has a Rosh Hashana 2008 Rapture. And the Rapture happening on Rosh Hashana 2008 is just as much an interpretation as the Pentecost 2009 Rapture is an interpretation. Let's not be arrogant and assume our interpretations are infallible, and that we have some sort of mental superiority to KNOW rather than to humbley and simply BELIEVE.
