The one person who was probably the most INTOLERANT man who ever appeared on the scene of World History was, without a doubt, his royal highness the Lord Jesus Christ!  Imagine that!  JESUS!  Jesus claimed that no one could get to heaven without going through HIM to get to the Father. THIS is the main reason Jesus is hated so much!  Imagine all those Buddhists who think they are going to go through Buddha and find out that they went in through the wrong "door" like thieves. Imagine all those muslim fanatics who blew themselves up expecting to see brown-eyed virgins waiting for them on the other side, instead going down to the sides of the PIT and meeting Lucifer himself with the chains to imprison them forever! Imagine all those Hindus, realizing when it is TOO LATE, that they spent their entire lives worshipping the wrong gods!

 

Imagine all those religious people (and there are millions of VERY, VERY religious UNSAVED people in the world - just ask them - they'll tell you!) that are trying to WORK their way to heaven totally disregarding the FINISHED work of Jesus on the Cross and they are self-righteously certain that they are going to make it THEMSELVES. And they are good, decent people, many of them. They'll TELL you they are! But they are just as lost as a golf-ball in a snowstorm! That is what this world hates - it is INTOLERANCE! Everyone wants to do their own thing - "leave me alone - and I'll leave you alone" and "you can do what you want, I'll do what I want and as long as we don't hurt each other, there's nothing wrong with it. We're both good people, we do a lot of GOOD things, so we will make it to heaven." This will be the number ONE complaint of the Antichrist. He will be INTOLERANT of those who believe there is only ONE path to heaven and it is a NARROW path and it goes through the suffering servant - Jesus! And it is not a path of WORKS, lest anyone get to heaven and brag that they earned their way there! Nearly every religion in the world, apart from bible-believing fundamentalists, teaches that you must DO SOMETHING YOURSELF to earn eternal life! The old "man is gonna pull himself UP" and "man is the measure of all things," mentality. This is also why left-behind people who get saved during the Trib have to pay for their belief's with their lives - they will be hunted down and MURDERED because they are intolerant and the world hates intolerance! The world wants everyone to accept everyone else into one large conglomerate of the great Religion of Peace and Love and Brotherhood - where no one is left out - everyone is accepted - and ALL paths lead to the same place! (Which they think is heaven. But they are dead wrong - there is a way that seems right to a man - and that way is death...) They will find out during the tribulation that indeed the heart  of man is desperately wicked - who can know it?

 

The Antichrist will be tolerant of ALL religions, but  INTOLERANT of all those who follow the man who said there is only ONE way to the Father. Imagine that! Jesus, the intolerant preacher. Jesus, so intolerant of sin, he had the gall to tell a woman to "go and sin no more!" He had the gall to tell people that HE was the DOOR - there are NO OTHER doors but him - that those who try to get to heaven through ANOTHER DOOR, besides him are thieves and robbers, and  that HE is the LIGHT of the World - He had the gall to tell people that they would be kicked into hell for their wickedness - and he was intolerant of all other gods out there, and all of MAN'S PATHS to get to heaven---Bet you don't hear much of that being preached in pulpits today - if ever!
