"WE WILL KNOW THE DAY AND HOUR"

WE WILL KNOW THE DAY AND HOUR

there are several areas i would like to talk about relative to the day and hour.
in scripture where jesus talks about no one knows the day or hour, all of the greek is
translated cannot know. if you look at the greek words used, and there are several for cannot
know,we see something very different than what we have been told to believe.
correctly translated jesus said; you cannot know the day NOW.
you cannot know the day instinctively.
you cannot know the day without effort.
there is only one time jesus uses the absolute form of the word and that is in matthew 24:36
where he says no one knows only my father. when jesus used this form of cannot know there is
no doubt in what he is saying. this is the foundation used by the cannot know group to
convince everyone that we cant know. from the beginning of matthew up to this point there is
NOTHING relating in any way to the rapture. if you want to know what 24:36 is referring to
look at 24:35. this part of matthew is talking about the tribulation and the second coming.
the rapture and the second coming are NOT the same thing.

another area of misleading is in 1 thessalonians 4:16-17 we are taught that the dead in
christ rise first then we who are alive are immediately caught up together with them in
the clouds. if we look at what paul is saying, keeping in mind that paul was extremely
educated,we see a different picture.paul says the dead in christ rise first THEN [denotes a
different event] we who are alive and REMAIN. we don't go with the dead immediately we remain
for a period of time I believe forty days.
if we go to the parable of the ten virgins we see something very interesting. they are
awakened by a cry the bridegroom is coming.they have time to trim their lamps and go out
to purchase oil . there is a period of time before they are taken up and I believe
the cry is the dead rising [first part of the rapture]and the period of time is forty days.if this is correct, then to know the day, count off forty from the time the graves are opened.

to know the year is more difficult to determine because of what we are trying to do and that
is to fit a generation around the rapture.if we look at the parable of the fig tree jesus
says that the generation that saw ALL THESE THINGS would not pass away untill all these things
took place. We have to fit the generation to include the second coming at the end of the
tribulation period.

how long is the generation we are looking for?forty years is the one that is used more than
any other but i dont believe it can stand by itself.the jews wandered in the desert forty
years and scripture says that generation would not enter into the promise land.does that
mean they all died at 40 years old.even if we go by jewish law and a generation starts at 19
years old its means everyone over 19 would be dead by age 59.i believe 40 is a generation of
testing.the jews tested in the desert 40 years.jesus tested 40 days.i believe the generation
of 40 years makes up part of the total generation we are looking for which i believe is 70
years.

god gave us three score and ten years as a generation of life.if we apply this to
israel being born in 1948 we are looking at 2018.the parable of the fig tree is not relating
to the birth of israel but to when it puts forth leaves[expands] which it did in 1967 at the
age of 19.that generation is the one that would not pass away until all thing were finished.
subtract 19 from 70 and we are looking at a 51 year generation.2018 minus 7years for the
tribulation period brings us to 2011.

there is still one part  missing and that is gods perfect timing, can we know it.i believe
we can if we center it around his desire that no soul should be lost.2008 is the 40th year
from the 1967 war and i believe the beginning of a three year tribulation, leading up to the
final seven, the lord said we would have tribulation 10 days.god is going to use this period
with us, saving as many souls as possible [his perfect timing],then the rapture will happen.

i conclude with this, the rapture whatever year it happens, will be in the spring.pastor
riley has the season correct but i dont think this year.jesus rose on the feast of first
fruits,he was the first fruit of a new being as we will be also.i believe we will be
raptured on that day whatever the year.a lot to think about!
