From Jan Mikael's dream:Again I heard the voice: you must come now Jan, its time, come up here. - I looked back a little stressed, -perhaps I also tried to call again ? - but still no reaction, so I run to the balcony, jumped into that beautiful - "something" - like a great nutshell, and in a split-second, it goes direct to the sky." - end of my dream ! "Dear Jan and Doves,I have long believed that our departure would be as described above rather than the traditionally described idea of suddenly disappearing into thin air before you even know what happened. My biggest reason for this is that there is always a personal choice involved in the moment of departure where the rapture is likened or typified in scripture. I have felt that it could be described in earthly terms much like a departure on a plane in the sense that a choice of the will is involved to get yourself on-board first (at the time that the invitation is given) and then comes the exhilarating lift off. Since the word in the Greek for rapture does involve a great lifting away by force, but that doesn't mean that the person is not also involved with their own choice of will to get in on it. The reason this is important is that everywhere that the "left behind" people are typified in scripture, they are always seen as CHOOSING to stay rather than being denied entry initially. (It is only after they discover their foolishness that they then seek entry and are told they are denied.) At first they are invited to come but through fear and/or unbelief, they refuse to get up and go, in the time frame that the invitation is opened to them. (Behold the Bridegroom, GO OUT TO MEET HIM...) Through lack of knowledge (darkness due to lamps going out etc.) THEY make a critical error of judgement and CHOOSE to reject the invitation, just as Israel did in the wilderness regarding the Promised Land; and just as the invited guests to the great supper in Jesus' parable. This dream that Jan has described fits perfectly with the way in which I believe our departure will take place. We will be invited to get on-board with Jesus in some fashion. We then must accept that invitation. Just as Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on water. Just as Lot left Sodom. As Noah entered the ark. As the guests entered the feast. And as the second generation entered the Promised Land.As for others seeing us go or not, Marilyn Agee years ago suggested that they will see us go as described in Psalm 40:1. I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, (this Earth) out of the miry clay, (flesh bodies) and set my feet upon a rock, (heaven) and established my goings.
3. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.Soon, Oh Soon!Barry Amundsen
