Just noticing how "marriage" and "wedding" have become prominent topics today almost like no other time in history. Being gay isn't enough and now they want marriage to cement the sinful relationships and acknowledge that they will never repent of their ways -- a permanent committment to regularly sin for the rest of their lives.

We now have entire cable shows dedicated to wedding planning. The wedding industry is huge. We have contests on TV competing to get married. Celebrity marriages are at the top of the news.

All of this focuses on the issue of marriage ceremonies, the religious nature of marriages/weddings, who is allowed to marry, who is righteous enough, who deserves it, etc.

Doesn't this tie in well with soon Wedding of Christ and His Bride? The Marriage Supper? Isn't God bringing marriage and wedding ceremonies to the forefront of our consciousness? Who is ready? Who is able? Who will be chosen? Who will choose?
