Luke 21:34 “But take heed unto yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and CARES** of THIS LIFE, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.” [emphasis mine] Now I hope you’ll especially read this Scripture in the Amplified versions! Luke 21:34 And then know that my great sister in the Lord reminded me that the word, ** “CARES” in the Greek means merimna, meaning distractions/ANXIETY and added to the previous surfeiting/drunkenness shows this. Their focus is no longer on God, but on the world...They no longer look for His return, but are caught in drunkenness, carousing, worrying, and so are no longer ready for that day… just like the foolish virgins, caught off guard by the Groom.
Obama: he easily gets any crowd stirred into a frenzy!! It’ll take a MIRACLE of God to defeat this man (is he energized by demonic forces?!) ~ he’s making John Kerry look like a choir boy! I am SOO tired of his hollering about “CHANGE”!! This world IS going to get “change” all right!! ~ but not the kind of change they THINK!! “Obamamania” ~ now it’s easy to see how people will be besides themselves whooping and hollering and in a giant frenzy when the AntiChrist is revealed and brings [pseudo] peace to the Middle East! This craze is but a foretaste of what’s to come upon this world.

The bank failures, rapidly rising prices of fuel and food, continual disasters, looming wars, and so on demand at least some notice and recognition by even the most apathetic of people. But with unbelief comes disbelief, and the only response of the majority of the people is to somehow lose any reference point with reality. The demand is high for the distractions of entertainment, drugs, gambling, alcohol, and anything else that will keep their eyes off from the truth. Reality may be painful, but final judgment and eternal damnation are far worse and without remedy.
It is true that the great day of the Lord is at hand! As you read this issue of the Last Trumpet, you will realize this truth all the more. If you do not know the Lord Jesus personally or if you are fearful and uncertain, I urge you to take time right now and pray to the Savior. He will hear you and change your life as you cry out in repentence. Do not put your trust in church membership, because no one has ever been saved by a church. You need a life changing, personal experience with the Lord Jesus, and you need it now, before it is too late.
