"Approach the
Altar." Leviticus 9:7
After the sin of the Golden Calf, at
the dedication of the Tabernacle, Moses told Aaron to step
forward to the Altar and bring the proper sacrifices. Aaron did not
feel worthy, because of his involvement with the golden calf, and
Moses had to remind him that he was chosen for this task.
Give yourself a break. Don't think, "I made a
mistake, it's over." Though your mistake may have had devastating
results, you must ask Yahveh for forgiveness and move on. Remember:
Yahveh not only forgave Aaron, He chose him to be the first High
Priest.
