No matter how messed up our lives have been, when we turn our hearts to face God, God will heal our broken hearts and bind up the wounds.  The only thing God asks of us is to demonstrate our love to God by loving our neighbor.  Then the one near us, can see God’s love through us when we become an open window into heaven.

 

Then he says, Come. Walk toward me. 

 

But the heart cries, God, I cannot see you.  How can I walk toward someone I cannot see. 

 

Trust me!!!  Trust me!!!  Trust me!!!   Take a step.   Trust me!!!  Trust me!!!  Trust me!!!  Take a step.  

 

But God, I am still a sinner, and I am still stumbling in the dark.  

 

Trust me!!!  Trust me!!!  Trust me!!!   Take a step.   Take another step.  Take another step.

 

But God, what if I take the wrong step, and I am stepping away from you? 

 

Trust me!!!  Trust me!!!  Trust me!!!   Take a step.   Take another step.  Take another step.  Now look at where you have been.  Your path has been made straight.  I have orchestrated before you a straight path when you trust me.  Though you are only taking baby steps and you trip and fall… trust me.  Get up and take another step. 

 

Soon you will walk as a man.   As your trust becomes stronger, you will run.  Mountains will move at the sound of your footsteps.  Rivers will part.  Nothing can stand in the path of a man whose heart trusts in the Lord.  Take off the limits.  Who says you can’t leap the mountains and skip over the hills?  Who says you cannot mount up with wings as eagles?  Wherever God is, let us run to Him by trusting Him, and watch what God does!!!

 

We just might find that hidden door into heaven that only by faith can one pass through.
