"RE: pray for Stephen"

Dear Brothers and sisters,
I am doing fine, much better in fact, and I thanks you for your prayers. I
have battling this for twenty years now and will not surrender or retreat or
give up. I am a soldier in God's army now and He has commissioned this former
Vietnam war draft dodging, George McGovern loving, liberal, pacifist to lock
and load and shoot hellfires at the enemy. I put on the Full armor of God
everyday and go to battle with an enemy not of flesh and blood. Satan fires
fiery darts at me and some get through. Am I afraid? I don't think so. So I
have trouble walking once in a while. At least I am not in a wheelchair. At
least I did not have my legs blown off by an IED. God has never forsaken me or
forgotten me and I will never stop fighting for Him. Never! He gave me a
beautiful, sweet, God fearing wife who has stood by my side thorough all of my
trials. She goes to work everyday so I can go to war here at home. God bless
her. She cares for me and worries about me as you can tell but she knows that
I will never retreat. Don't pity me or feel sorry for me. Just pray for me.
God told Paul who also had a thorn in his flesh
"My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness."
Paul responded that "Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my
weaknesses that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well
content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions,
with difficulties for Christ's sake, for when I am weak then I am strong."
2Corinthians 12:9-10
I have been insulted and persecuted and rejected by my family and colleagues.
You are my new family and I thank God for all of you.
I know I am being attacked because of what I am doing right not because of
what I am doing wrong. God has put me in the front line and I may hobble once
in a while but I will never retreat. Don't pity me, just stand beside me in
this battle for the souls of our children and grandchildren.
God Bless,
Stephen Yulish
