I've been following worlds events and watching for the Rapture since the mid-70's.  I sense the time is getting near, even at the door.  However, as dates have come and gone, I found myself actually becoming angry with God that He didn't come when we thought He should.  WRONG!!!, OH, SO WRONG!!!  What audacity!!!  What haughtiness!!!  WHAT SINFULNESS!!!
 
Last evening during devotions, I repented of my wrong attitude and asked forgiveness of this.  But the Lord, in His never-ending patience and compassion, revealed something so amazing to me:  I have been focusing on the WEDDING instead of the BRIDEGROOM.  Our time here on earth is the "courting" phase of our wedding.  We need to spend as much time getting to know our BRIDEGROOM as we do planning for our wedding.  That's what "courting" is all about.  I had lost focus of JESUS, my TRUE LOVE!  I had not been spending quality time with HIM, but was instead focused on the wedding preparations and timing of the wedding ceremony.  Now I am focusing on HIM, and when the wedding ceremony happens, whether via the Rapture or death, I will have enjoyed a wonderful, sweet, beautiful relationship with my BRIDEGROOM.
 
God has shown me that there is more to His Word than Scriptures on the Rapture.  I am reading the book of Mark to get to now my BELOVED more intimately, so when I meet Him I will KNOW HIM.
