I was asked to put another prayer request on the Five Doves because this person learned of all healings from your prayers on this website and would greatly appreciate prayers for her dear friend.

This lady requiring prayers has emphysema (she has quit smoking) and lately had fallen, but her recovery from the injury is very slow.  She now requires constant care.  She is a very good person, but thinks she is now too old to be healed and so on. 

I want to repeat again of at least three earlier healings; and because of all the prayers these three people were healed which seemed to be so seriously ill that there seemed to be no hope that they would live.

In her early 20s, had cancer that had spread and she received radiation, chemotherapy, etc. which did not seem to help; became extremely weak and she was slowly dying.  She has since recovered and the last I heard was going back to college.

Greg had a massive heart attack and the doctors were ready to call the family together for preparations to 'pull the plug'.  A prayer request was posted and Greg started recovering quickly. He was discharged in a week or two, as I remember, and the doctors and nurses gave him a
nickname of Lazurus because of his unexpected and then a speedy recovery.  He is doing fine now.

A classmate of my grandson's, Joanna, had a serious problem in her neck area.  She was losing fluid from her brain  ---  as it was described to me; she had to have an operation that very few survived from.  If they survived, they were tormented the remainder of their lives with
a constant headache.  She had the operation, I think it was later in 2006 because I saw her at a school Christmas program, when the children were singing carols.  She appeared well and my son said she was doing fine and was attending school again all the time.  I next went to the 8th
grade graduation  recently and she was looking happy and smiling.  Her parents had invited my grandson and his parents to their home for a graduation party and Joanna was doing great. 

There are people that seem to require even more proof that the Lord heals.  Here are a couple more.  Cheryl Prewitt of Ackerman, Miss. was Miss America in 1980.  Before that she was in a bad auto accident when  she was a little girl as her older sister was driving.  Her face was
terribly cut up and her leg was badly broken.  Miraculously her face completely healed, although her leg healed, it was now about four inches shorter.  One day she visited a healing ministry by Rev. Kenneth Hagin.  She went up forward to him with the others seeking healing.  Moments
later she came back to her mother crying.  Her leg was now grown out even with her other.  Paul Harvey had this story on his program called THE REST OF THE STORY.  Paul Harvey said that he investigated the information about Cheryl with Kenneth Hagin, the doctors, etc.,
and it was true.

About twenty or so years ago, Captain John LeVrier of the Houston Police Department, in Houston, Texas gave his testimony at our Full Gospel Business Men's dinner meeting.  To make a long story short -- he had terminal cancer and was dying and was told by the doctors to put his affairs in order as he had not long to live.  He was told by a good friend who coaxed him to attend Katherine Kuhlman's healing ministry at which  he was instantly healed. 

Later while dressing himself he found out that he was even healed of his knotty varicose veins. His legs were now as smooth as that of a teenagers.
