More on Tony Snow and the Ginned Up Immigration Crisis & Biometric Identification

Several days ago I wrote about Tony Snow’s comments on the Hew Hewitt show which indicated the intentions of the government to biometrically identify every person in the United States (both legal and illegal) by combined use of the “Real ID Act” and the pending Immigration Act.  He also indicated the intention of putting this “biometric” information into a world database.  After further digging I have determined that shortly before becoming the President’s Press Secretary Tony Snow wrote an article for Reason Magazine that questioned whether there is a real "immigration crisis." He questions “Why, then, the fuss? In America today, unemployment remains low, employment is booming, wages have begun to grow in tandem with the economy, tax receipts are exploding at the federal and state levels, and the United States continues to run laps around its European and Asian economic rivals. The United States somehow has managed to absorb 10 million to 20 million illegal immigrants not only without turning into Animal Farm, but while cranking up the most impressive economic recovery in two decades and the most prolonged period of declining crime in a century—all in the teeth of the post-9/11 recession, wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the double-whammy hurricane season of 2005.” (See "Where's the Mayhem" http://www.reason.com/news/show/36906.html)

 

The reference to Animal Farm (written by George Orwell of 1984 fame) is disturbing given the fact that this ginned up crisis is being used to tag and catalog all humans. If there is no “fuss” then why tag everyone?

 

Examine the English plan. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article1626768.ece where Great Britain plans to have mandatory biometric identification.

Some have made the mistake that the Bible only calls for a "mark" without recognizing that Revelations tells us not to take the number of his name. (See http://www.indexoftheweb.com/Patriot/TheMark.htm)  If you think that all this is mere coincidence you are wrong.
