Amidst the nursery of stars that was shown
to Abraham...did he see God before His time?
Not likely.  Did he see us...as we are now, perhaps.
There was a breath of intent, The Artist at His best...playing.
Did He chase the Milky Way before He set its seat? Did He
make the constellations bow before they shone?
Did He laugh with the shining before iniquity was found...
or did He make his presence known?
Did He ponder violets and sun or the color of flame
before He gave it heat? What kind of gift can the stars and
moon provide the The Almighty... who can come through time
if only just to love? Is the morning jealous of the night which
provides a contrast, or does a child ponder it's Maker in the womb?
What kind of gift does one give to The Masterpiece of God?
Do the stars offer obedience in love... or can they rebel and be
given to sloth? Do they offer music and praise to The God Most High...
or can he take His rest in knowing...
Will His dream come to fruition and creation and Creator dance
from a time when all was still... except a Heart that took a chance...
...on us.
