"God hits the campaign trail"

God hits the campaign trail

I found Anderson Cooper's CNN blog with the above title, following the Republican Presidential debates.  It's obvious from the comments that the populace is still chanting, "We want no King but Caesar!"

A scripture that came to mind as I read the comments is from 2Ch 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. If the anti-religion camp who's posting is any measure of our current society (and I believe it is to a great extent) national repentance is but a dream, and we'd better stock up on disaster supplies!

I hope all the Doves will read the blog and if so lead, add your responses. The current freedom of speech still gives us a voice too!  I will admit that it's pretty disgusting to me that Wolf Blitzer was the one asking Romney the religious question which started it all, and the candidates are being blamed for forcing their religion on the public.  With that said, it is also a joke to me how obvious it is that some presidential hopefuls seem to be "playing the Christian card" hoping for our votes!
