When my daughter and I began seeing these numbers, several years ago, we were perplexed as to their meaning.  Finally, after a year of seeing the numbers frequently and with a sense of urgency attached to their viewing,  I turned to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance.  I found great comfort in meanings that were indicated in sometimes secondary definitions or root words.  I was glad to see Bob post that 444 means 'perfect love' because I found that the numbers were attached to the Bridegroom at one level.  A simplified statement of my findings indicated:
111= I will move gently and speak softly
222= rapture
333= think on this
444= love of the bridegroom
555=rapture
888= rapture
999= judgment
 
I see these numbers right now as many as ten times a day on the clock, on my GPS in the car where the clock battery is running low and not in sync with the other clock, on license plates, phone numbers, bill receipts, store id numbers and other items.  They are like a love symphony to encourage the day!
