It's GONE!

We got the final results and Gabriel no longer has leukemia!

Praise God, thank you Jesus!

My heart is overflowing and as I write, tears of joy are streaming down my face. There was NO leukemia, NO abnormal chromosomes and 100% donor cells in Gabriel's bone marrow sample.

We are not at the end of this road, but this is a HUGE hurdle and awesome milestone to have passed. Thank you to SO many who have been praying and sending good thoughts our way for over a year now. We can't thank you enough.

Please continue to pray for freedom from infections and from a lifetime of health for Gabriel. There are pages of possible side effects that he may face for the rest of his life from the chemo and radiation he had. We aren't going to worry about those - it's all in God's hands, but they do pass through my thoughts at times. For now we celebrate today and the new life Gabriel has!

We are going to have a party tomorrow to celebrate, but the really big party (when you ALL are invited) will happen next February 19th - at Gabriel's one year anniversary!
