"Anonymous praying"

Dear friends:

During the night last night, during a moment when I happened to be awake,
the name of an unknown person popped in my mind.  I had no idea who it was,
but I felt a strong unction to pray for that person.  I prayed a short
prayer for his protection and blessing.  God only knows what it was all about.

Then when I woke up this morning, the image of a child's face came in my
mind.  Again, I did not know who it was, but I felt a strong unction to
pray for that person.  I prayed a short prayer for his protection and
blessing.

God only knows what either of these incidents were all about.  I don't have
a clue, but I don't need a clue.  My job was to be faithful.

This does not happen to me very often, but when it does I want to be
obedient.  I want to be His vessel -- "available when needed."

Please be alert to this happening to you.  If the name or image of an
unknown person pops into your mind, pray for him or her.  You may save them
from harm, or even death, or help them in many possible ways.  You will
help shape eternity.
