Dear John and all Doves,
For several days before and after the summer solstice it appears that the sun, at noontime elevation, seems to stand still in the sky. Therefore this is a process of several days, as well as the centerpiece day on 6-21. The implication is that from 6-19 to 6-23 we will be in a summer at the gates period. The technical time of the summer solstice will be on 6-21 at 18:06 U.T. Universal time is calculated from Greenwich, England. You add hours if you go east and you subtract if you go west. In Israel, for example, you add 2 hours and another hour for daylight savings time and you are at 21:06. They are getting close to the midnight hour.
This time was a great time for feasting and drunkenness for pagans. Revelry was the order of the day and the season. What were they doing in the times of Noah? They were eating and drinking. Was it this time of the year? Were they drunken?
A fig tree has green leaves in Israel now. The parable of the fig tree is in Luke 21. We are told that summer is near and so is the kingdom. Look at the next story . Watch Yourselves also from Luke 21. It is the same time frame so we have a double 21.We now can see this from the context of the pagan dissipation and drunkenness of the approaching season and that day, it is a Summer Season and Day."But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have the strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."
Summer solstice, or summer at the gates, is a a time to watch, prepare, lift up your heads, look up, and pray to have the strength to elude the trap, pray to be found worthy to stand before Him, and pray for promises from the Scripture to be kept .
Will our redemption be drawing near as the summer season and day approach? Will this be the time for the doors and gates to open? May we watch and pray and repent and prepare for the season and day of His spiriting the Bride away by her Groom. With Love and Shalom,
