"Is it so simple ? -  Psalms Chapter 83:1-18."

from Danmark 1o.o6.o7
to John Tng and Doves site !

We are now living in thise days, but lets read and believe in, that this words is the will of God, for us, and especially for the nation and people of Israel, when they wake up from their "sleep" and call on the Lord for help.

But look, Asaf, the psalm-writer not only pray for destruction for the enemies, he also talk about their repent, that they may see, the Lord is the Most High.

He follow Abraham, when He asked the Lord about mercy and grace for the rigthousness in Sodom-Gommoreh. - It is not up to us to condem, the rigth of justice is alone in our wonderful Lords hands, and believe me, its all for our best !

We can and shall ask for mercy and grace, even for our enemies, but when the Lord take over, then we have to find our place, as Abraham did, - because the rest belong to the Lords alone !

For those loving the number 118, as you see, this is verse 1-18 - funny also that the UN. Establisdocument for a Jewish homeland, from 29.11,1947 was docu. 181, - the number of verse - reversed.

I more and more believe in, that it all is so simple, and it is us who confussed it all, with our old traditions and doctrines. Often beliewing in, and snobing for those "selvestablished authorities" just because of their social and economic standards. - It is exactly as in the days of Jesus, from Hi`s birth to Hi`s ascenssion !

Then its easyer to understand Matthew 11:24-26.v. and Luke 21:35-36.v. - and remember the caldean wisemen,
the sheperd on the field, and Anna and Simeon. They just believed, - and they were the first to see and even touch our Great God. - Praise and Glory for ever and ever to you Jesus !

Psalms 83: 1-18.v.
        83:1 <> God, don't keep silent. Don't keep silent, and don't be still, God. 83:2 For, behold, your enemies are stirred up. Those who hate you have lifted up their heads. 83:3 They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones.

83:4 "Come," they say, "and let's destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more."

83:5 For they have conspired together with one mind. They form an alliance against you. 83:6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites; 83:7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; 83:8 Assyria also is joined with them. They have helped the children of Lot. Selah.

83:9 Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon; 83:10 who perished at Endor, who became as dung for the earth. 83:11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna;
83:12 who said, "Let us take possession of God's pasturelands." 83:13 My God, make them like tumbleweed; like chaff before the wind.
83:14 As the fire that burns the forest, as the flame that sets the mountains on fire, 83:15 so pursue them with your tempest, and terrify them with your storm. 83:16 Fill their faces with confusion, that they may seek your name, Yahweh.

83:17 Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;

83:18 that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth !
