Dear John and Doves,

The excerpt below is from an email from our son's father-in-law, Gordon, yesterday.  We had no idea that Wanda was doing poorly.  I agree with Gordon that Wanda needs 'time off and reassurance' but that is not the greatest need.  Please pray that in all this the Lord would show Himself to Wanda and Gordon both and that their hearts would be softened to receive His truth for salvation and healing.  They have no understanding of grace and truth but instead have fallen for deceitful doctrines of current days (DaVinci Code makes sense to them).  They need to know the Shepherd Who leads us beside still waters and the Lover of our souls.

Wanda’s not doing to good. Her neck problem is getting worse and has spread down into her arms and legs. The doctor has sent her home from work for at least 3 month while they runs tests etc…

Her mother was diagnosed with cancer and her sister may have the early stages of M.S. It runs in their family, her aunt Jackie died from it.

We’ll get all the testing completed and go from there. I think all of this is weighing heavily on her creating bunches of anxiety and stress. Right now I think she just needs some time off and reassurance that nothing is seriously wrong with her. We haven’t told the Kids so please keep this close to the vest, OK?
