Dear PK,Thank you for your medical testimony. It truly shows how the Lord can override any obstacle and still prevail.
In your case, it was the saving of your husbands intestine in time.I know what you mean about having to change clothes in the middle of the night due to perspiration from fever. Sometimes my husband had to
have his T-shirt and pajamas changed twice in a night, while recuperating at home. We sure had a lot of laundry to do.And he told me that he was icy cold without those fresh T-shirts.
If your husband had to go through the night without those changes of clothes, that truly was a hardship
No one I know could endure sleeping in wet clothes.
So the attention we give to our loved ones when they are sick are so vital, though it seems like a small task.As Jim and I get older, we realize how short life is and how a life of kindness is the only thing that matters.
When some people go to work, they are caught up with economic-survival and forget the human touch.
But just as "life and death are in the tongue" ( Proverbs ) so is a healthy life filled with giving and receiving kindness.
Those who robotically go about their jobs on hospital staffs are missing the good life if they forget to be kind and thoughtful with music in their voice.
Again, thank you for sharing.
